A person died on board an Air France flight from Paris to Boston, Massachusetts State Police said Tuesday evening.

State Police are investigating, as is the case with unattended deaths.

“The identity of the decent will not be released until appropriate notifications to the persons loved ones are made,” State Police said in a statement.

State Police assigned to Logan Airport and detectives assigned to the Suffolk district attorney’s office responded to the scene.

A representative of Air France could not be reached for comment.

No further information was released.
