Probably a cloud obscured these houses on the most recent imagery so they have overlaid some of the older imagery to make the houses visible.
I’m surprised that this isn’t more widely known, but that area is Ealing, specifically Castlebar Road and Haven Green is currently suffering from severe frost bite.
If it spreads much further south then there is actually a chance that Ealing Broadway Station may need to be amputated.
