I am from the west so I don’t know what to believe from the media here. So asking here.

How does this end? What is really happening in Ukraine 🇺🇦?

Behind the scenes I heard of rumours of a negotiated peace treaty where Ukraine must remain neutral, no weapons from other countries and can’t be invaded or join NATO.

Seem likely? Or are we looking at things escalating into World War 3?

  1. Stop talking about WW3. Even if NATO joined the war directly (which, if Russia will not escalate further is extremely unprobable), it still wouldn¨’t constute a “world war”, as Russia would stand alone. Don’t make Russia seem more important than it really is.

  2. Russia will bleed while attempting to occupy Ukraine, until it will one day go away like it did in Afghanistan, and the regime will fall apart.

I wish NATO would intervene but sadly, everyone is too much of a pussy to really do it.

  3. Optimistically, i think someone will kill or otherwise remove putin (oligarchs cant be too happy their property is getting seized and i hope that at least someone around him realises threatening nuclear war is self destructive )and it will be over. Before that happens thousands will die and it will take decades for Ukrajina to recover
Pesimistically i think he is sick in the head and will use nuclear power to which NATO will step up but it will be too late

Another option that some people around me believe is that russia will take a big chunk of Ukrajina and there will be a partisan war there for a few years until death finally takes that bitch and Ukrajina will take it back while russia scrambles for a new dictator.
