  1. I can be wrong, but 99% someone put it on a ship and ship it to some of the European ports.

  2. imagine stuck in traffic, siren is blowing at max and you see the NYPD pass you💀

  3. They imported it from a police auction probably, then registered as a classic (hence the yellow plates), so they can keep the police equipment as a specialty car.

  4. the yellow “vintage car” plate makes it even weirder – it’s no way old enough to qualify for that.

  5. I know it’s shocking, but NYC actually exists in the same universe as Poland, so you can ship it.

  6. Go for a walk next to any bigger company that imports cars from the US. They’re going to have at least a few of those in their yard. They’re very common. They’re shipped to Europe as-is, with all the emblems, logos etc.

  7. Their are companies where you can hire these kinds of cars. Normally for film/video shoots.

  8. The Numberplate looks more like it’s from the Netherlands

  9. He just got lost, I wonder if he’ll ever get back.

/s, I see the license plate.

  10. Someone played a real version of NFS or GTA and managed to lose the cops, but that pursuit took them across the ocean and half of Europe 😮 Now, the cops are cruising until they respawn in America again.

  11. What ford is that and how did he get yellow license plates!? I seen few days ago toyota corrola with Policja stickers clearly orginal one so that one is not shocking for me

  12. There was a news bit about this recently. They’re quite popular in Europe and Poland overall. I also saw them.

The consensus was that you can use an American cop car in Poland with custom stickers because it’s basically not illegal.

Treat it like an irl HotWheels

  13. People are being over complicated with reasoning. Likely this could have been from a film production and sold after production wrapped up as it was too expensive to transport and store back to US.

  14. “Visit Poland, your car’s probably there already” moment

  15. In addition to importing this kind of vehicle, there is another option. I own my own large-format printing house and have converted civilian vehicles into police vehicles many times, printing 1:1 sticker patterns from real police cars. Sometimes these were vintage American vehicles for events or collectors, but most often they were cars for movies or TV series.

  16. I know if there are big events like Olympics. There are a lot of cops from other countries as well. For the event thay don’t have jurisdiction in the host country. But say my wallet gets stolen as a Dutch person during Paris Olympics. It’s convenient I can deal with Dutch cops. And they will arrange things with the French cops. Something like this maybe possibly with us cops in EU as well? I think there is some us army base in Poland and stuff.

  17. It was sold as its no longer needed and someone importet it? Normal stuff, you can watch guys on youtube buying old police cars and clearing them out. They even find the occasional gun left behind in these cars. [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QUpjR3XJWIg](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QUpjR3XJWIg)

I don’t see the issue, car looks pretty stripped to me as there is no police light on top.
And as the design and naming “Policja” is different this car should not be confused with a real police car in poland. So I would say pretty street legal, obvious IANAL.

  18. It could always be a custom-made paint/wrapping job. After all nothing on this car is restricted outside of USA

  19. Vehicles registered as historic are allowed to keep emergency equipment (but you obviously can’t use it in traffic)

  20. There is an American Police Car parade in Warsaw every year .
Not sure, how they legally procure those cars.

  21. I’ve seen a fully equipped Interceptor on the streets. Sirens, searchlights, everything. They just ship it to Poland, don’t know who sells them on the US side but it’s quite common to be fair

  22. This car has a yellow registration plate with a symbol of a vintage car on it. And that means that it is registered as a vintage car. As for stickers I do not know but they might be legal – after all the car does not pretend to be a Polish police car.
