Lithuania ready to deploy troops to Ukraine at Kyiv’s request, new US administration to be informed

1. If they could cover the border with Belarus, that would free up some Ukrainian soldiers that could help in the East.

2. Bravo Lithuania, you just set a new precedent. Much needed.

4. First country to place troops inside of Ukraine will set the precedent that will end this war finally.

   Lukashenko and his bogus appologies etc have set the narative to allow these troops on the border with Belarus anyway. It would free up a substantial ammount of troops and logistical capabilities that would definately change the frontline in the south/east

5. I would like to commend Lithuania for having the guts to step up and provide real assistance as in manpower if every country would do that this war would come to an end quickly

6. If North Korea troops are assisting Russia in combat, there’s absolutely nothing stopping any of the EU countries from stationing defensive troops along the border inside of Ukraine to free up Ukrainian forces.

7. That would change things. Lithuania is a NATO country.

8. It’s inevitable if Russia continues. You fight the enemy. Russia will eventually just roll into Lithuania if the war continues. And if Putin wants to use nukes then it’s all over anyway. Might as well get the party started. Putin started this and the west will have to finish it.

9. Lithuania does not have a sizeable army.

   It big brother Poland got a more than sizeable army, really well prepared and considering the economy punching above it’s weight.

   Considering the current and historical ties between Poland and Lithuania I suspect a plot to get the Polish involved. Especially since both countries have a historical distrust of Russia.
