  1. “I am not hearing the things CNN told me was the case now that CNN has decided this isnt an issue now that it benefits them.”

  2. They’re likely still around, but I think it’s safe to say there’s a far, far bigger threat locally at the moment.

  3. I honestly don’t care about Gaza anymore. The reason is simple. There was civil war in Palestine, and we had an opportunity to stop that. Instead, we voted to have civil war here in the US. So I’m preparing for chaos here. My compassion has been removed the way a welcome mat on your front door is removed before a storm

  4. Not to mention they also made the left look bad with vandalism, antisemitism, harassment, etc. The Trump supporters used that as a weapon to sway people away from Harris. Even though they alone didn’t cost us the election, it makes me mad seeing a group of people refusing to vote, despite having democracy at stake. And what do they think Trump is going to do!? The Palestinians have suffered enough from this terrible and Trump will not give a shit if more Palestinian civilians get killed in collateral damage. The IDF does try to avoid civilian deaths as possible, but Trump would not give a shit. He’s probably gonna deploy our military to Gaza and be very reckless. I can’t believe these protester voters didn’t think what Trump could do.

  5. I’m not sure why people think that Americans were suddenly going to put foreign interests above our own domestic issues.

Biden could’ve bombed Israel out of Gaza and Harris still would’ve lost because people didn’t like the price of eggs.

  6. I wouldn’t be surprised if someone not part of the movement was trying to create the fracture the same way bart scared people at the bank.

It doesn’t take much to scare people away from democrats… which is scary considering the other side

  7. I mean.. Palestinian innocents are still being slaughtered

  8. It was amazing that every single one of them could not answer specific questions, like “will more Palestinians die under Trump or under Harris?”

Their response would be “Genocide is genocide”

“Okay, should we accelerate genocides or slow them down?”

That would result in a block. Every time. Nobody ever answered this.

  9. Oh no, they’re still pulling all the “holier than thou” stuff on my feeds. Right now they’re comparing it to the California fires somehow?

Like, I’m not okay with neither, so why are you bitching at me? High strangeness.

  10. We are still protesting. Activist were at the capitol yesterday. The difference is we can’t be your strawman argument for why Harris and the Dems were running a terrible campaign anymore. Maybe be more mad at the MIC funding a genocide than at the people who dared to point it out.

  11. i still see it a bunch. maybe you just stopped engaging with it. everything is algorithm driven so our media is reflective of that.

    this is honestly really disingenuous

  12. How unbelievably insensitive & remarkably uninformed. You should be ashamed of yourself.

  13. They’re still around. I made a comment about Israel pulling out of Gaza years ago and got 28 downvotes.

  14. Per Maslow’s hierarchy of needs, personal safety rates pretty high. I don’t think people don’t care anymore – I’d argue that most do – but a lot of people are feeling very unsafe right now.

Thomas Hobbes (1651 Leviathan) wrote about the use of insecurity and fear to manipulate people so they are less likely to act for the common good.

Creating a movement of hate and fear has been the go-to playbook by multiple authoritarian leaders because it works. And it is pretty much the GOP/MAGA playbook for controlling their own base.

  15. I want to see the usage graphs on Reddit, Facebook, and Twitter during the internet outage in Russia.

  16. Democrats abandoned all of their morals so I’m to blame? Get fucked

  17. Probably waiting until he’s actually in power.

  18. Bullshit. We’re all still raising awareness. OP’s pathetic attempt at correlating Humanism and concern for our countries complicity in a genocide with being Pro-Russia are absurd, as the same people funding the Republicans (who you ostensibly dislike) are the same people committing said genocide.

This is nothing but a feeble attempt at distracting the Internet from reality and assigning blame to anyone but the DNC, when the loss is solely on them.

  19. Some anonymous Twitter/X employee posted that they were doing this on Twitter/X to swing the election: [https://theconcernedbird.substack.com/p/elon-musks-and-xs-role-in-2024-election](https://theconcernedbird.substack.com/p/elon-musks-and-xs-role-in-2024-election)

Which seems likely. Its apparently very easy to just get a bunch of AI chatbots and set them free… [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6PZVwNTl5hI](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6PZVwNTl5hI)

I imagine the same thing being done across all sorts of social media.

  20. My trance niece set up the election because “genocide Joe”. She’s been awfully silent.

  21. No. You people just accepted defeat and gave up on abusing people for not supporting a genocide supporter.

  22. Or, hear me out, nothing was done and now people have just started to accept that the US will never back away from Israel no matter how terrible they get because global strategic interests trump humanitarianism any day of the week, it seems.

I voted for Harris despite their stance on Gaza and Israel. Rather shitty right of center moderates than a literal Christian nationalist nazi.

  23. Wow I didn’t realize a bunch of Republican CUNTS had invaded this sub. Eat shit.
