Doesn’t entirely surprise me but interesting that mines can take out a tank, but not set each other off / keep operating at what looks like very close distances.
Audio on this video is weirdly generic at times. “This APC is firing on Ukrainian positions” … I mean yeah it’s shooting. It’s not clear if they’re speaking because they **know** where the positions are or just assuming / if this is just some AI type narration.
Questionable musical choice and AI voice aside..
Jesus Christ what an absolute fucking hellscape.
I’m imagining all the hundreds of millions (even billions) of Euros worth of military equipment being destroyed in these videos, instead going to finance healthcare and education along with scientific research… all of it wasted when it could have done something good for the Russian people and the world at large.
The thousands of Russian lives lost when they could’ve been doing literally anything else instead of invading another country or dying for an old decrepit Secret Services agent lost in a worthless memory of past glory.
The lives of millions of Ukrainians completely derailed by Putler. Not to mention Syria and every other act of aggression committed by Russia and sanewashed because “corrupt decadent West does it too”.
Completely meaningless.
The problem is there are more mines than vehicles. Also fuck Russia.
This is a compilation of different attacks on different fronts put together with an ai generated script and voice.
Nice turrent toss 20 minutes in.
These look to be from early in the Avdivka offensive over a year ago. Good footage but I don’t think we’ve really seen such large armoured columns since then.
I can only praise the Ukrainian lions who hold the line against a brutal war machine ten times their size. Legendary commanders among them. Denys Prokopenko has Finnish ancestry and his grandfather fought in the Russo-Finnish war of 1939.
“The APC tries to turn around, will they make it past the mines??” *explosion*
Can we get rid of the music and the fake sound effects please.
Land mines are so incredibly efficient.
I’m not sure why they don’t fly a drone mine into the gaps between vehicles in a convoy in areas where they’ve set up lines of mines.
Land mine takes out the first, but the rest follow in the first’s tracks. Why not park a little surprise there for them? Seems easier than a dynamic hit, and worth a try or two.
They could even mark a GPS point for landing, and drop smoke on the way if they were concerned about being spotted. And even if the drone mine was spotted, that’ll just cause the invaders to veer left or right into the established field of mines…
this AI commentary reminds me of the first film reels with sound, where narrators described exactly what’s happening on the screen rather than adding the flavour like they do in the more modern era of film/reporting.
e: it’s still a good footage nonetheless
Pray and spray with a tank is wild 🤯
I feel like i’m watching “How it’s made” but it’s Russians getting wrecked
