2. It’s like Whole Foods, which is also owned by Bezos. Looks good; plenty of advertising to make you think it’s good for you. But nonetheless slowly getting rotten

4. Over the last 25 years or so, basically since 9/11, we have had a series of disasters in America; across various fronts. And it seems that with each one, they act as a kind of high-speed particle collision where the constituent parts and their contribution to the whole are ever more deeply revealed. Especially across the political economy.

   So here now too, with the reelection of Trump (another disaster collision), we are seeing with ever finer detail the landscape of how power is constructed, distributed, and operates. Of course, these network ties and power dynamic relationships aren’t likely entirely new, but what is, is the ever more clear delineation.
