In a new interview with the YouTube channel Sway’s Universe, actor O’Shea Jackson Jr. admitted that he joined in the chant as revenge against Hogan’s infamous racist rant from 2015.

    > When asked why, Jackson was clear in his reasoning.

    >”The racism, bro. It’s just hard to forget how detailed that rant was,” he said. “If you look up his rant, it’s very detailed. I get a lot of people online who are like ‘well, he would be mad if he found out about that whole generation!’ Yeah, well, when I find out, I’ll be mad. But right now? Bringing him out here? What’d you think was gonna happen?”

  9. Hogan’s problem (among many) is his lack of awareness with the internet. This isn’t 1995 anymore and even back then online message boards were popping up. Today, fans can easily learn of Hogan’s racist rants, marital problems, anti-union moves/him screwing over Jesse Ventura, resistance to putting over new talent, the list goes on and on. I also just think unlike guys like Rock and Austin, Hogan’s gimmick just plain doesn’t hold up as well. Hulkamania has left the building.

  13. Finding the original racist rant transcript was a bit difficult… It was exactly as I expected.
