  1. Farewell Democratic Republic. Hello open Oligarchy and Autocracy.

  2. Not sure if I can bear to tune into the Eulogy for Democracy. I’ll try.

Hoard your precious eggs, fascism starts Monday.

  3. Brevity is saintly:

“Hey ‘Murica, y’all elected him. Good luck with that”

  4. The best part. Biden is taking credit for the ceasefire. The only time Trump stumbles into doing something good, if only so that he can take credit for it, and Biden is taking the credit in the media. Hahaha. We live in the funniest timeline.

..before you whine at me. If Biden wanted to end the conflict he could have done it more than a year ago. This ceasefire is a side-deal Trump made with Bibi months ago. Not because Trump gives a shit about Gaza but because he thinks it will make him look good and because Bibi knows Trump won’t stop Israel from their plans to seize more land for their ‘Great Israel’ initiative. Israel needs to take a break from all the negative press and give the IDF a break anyway. This is a good excuse for Israel to take a break.

Here are some links indicating that those actually involved in the negotiations give Trump significant credit:

Biden never pressured Bibi. It was clear over and over again that Biden refused to pushed Bibi at all. Trump made a deal with Bibi. We don’t know what the details of the real deal are, so we shouldn’t celebrate.

Edit: Israel =/= Iran. Biden could have had a ceasefire more than a year ago. He did not want one. He wanted his legacy to be as the most ‘pro-israel’ president ever. Trump isn’t Reagan. Israel is not Iran.

  5. I still remember the immense relief I felt watching both his victory speech and inaugural address. I cannot believe where we are going from here.

  6. Welp, at the least they’ll have trouble making me more stressed, given how awful it’s already been since the election and how bad my expectations are for the next term.

  7. So if you thought that the “soul of America” was at stake…WHY DIDN’T YOU FUCKING DO ANYTHING ABOUT IT, JOE?!? I’m so done with this ineffectual moron and his ceding to the far right. There are so many things that Biden could have done to stop the far right and get a handle on this. But like all Dems, he chose to sit on his hands for three years while a bunch of fucking fascists retook power.

The Dems do not know how to do anything except scaremonger and fundraise. They are willfully powerless in the face of an actual threat. They’ll deny it to the end, but they love Trump because when he’s in power, they get to pretend to be the opposition.

  8. I’m so upset with him I don’t know if I can bear to watch. It is not feasible to pull together a campaign in 100 days. Moderates were upset that he appointed the nominee and denied the people a primary. Hell some democrats were. All his years in politics, he should have known better. He should have stuck it out or announced his intention to not run no later than November 2022. I still remember the one term rumor in his 2020 campaign, I’m half convinced his team spread it knowing it he wouldn’t stick to it.

  9. I originally had high praises for Biden’s administration. At first I thought Biden did excellent C or B-. Now, ignoring the Palestine/Israrl issue, I would have to grade the administration with a D or a F.

I will most likely go with a F due to the failures and Biden’s enabling of Trump’s sane washing and failed hopes of his dumb ass bipartisanship push.

Biden gets a F from me.

  10. Only a few selected people get to really promise to defend the Constitution by any means….

Biden sworn that he would do whatever he could do to defend it. He’s currently failing, because the next president to be, called for the termination of the Constitution itself..

Please do what you sworn to do, Biden!!

  11. Goodbye Genocide Joe! One of America’s worst presidents with a legacy of failure!

    * Got hundreds of people killed in the Afghanistan surrender

    * Oversaw the ignition of the Russo-Ukrainian War

    * Sponsored Israel’s genocide of Palestinians

    * Oversaw the breakout of the Sudan Civil War

    * Saw one of the worst outbreaks of inflation in American history

    * Failed to pass student loan relief

    * Failed to pass a Green New Deal

    * Failed to fix the medical debt crisis

    * Failed to represent working class Americans and pandered to the billionaire class

    * Failed to hold Trump accountable in any meaningful way

    * Illegally interfered with the prosecution of his son then corruptly pardoned him

    * Pardoned corrupt Democratic operatives including the Kids for Cash judge

  12. Mixed feelings about this. On one hand, I don’t think Biden was a *bad* president. On the other, I don’t think he was entirely great and I think his ego getting in the way of his decision to run again will be interesting to say the least when it enters history books. I feel like I should tune in out of respect for the good things he’s done (ending the pandemic being the biggest thanks I could possibly give him) and just to savor one last bit of normalcy before all hell breaks lose come Monday.
