Why is diesel still higher than petrol? How has this ever actually happened? Petrol was always higher to help promote people not buying high powered cars over emissions.
Will barely make a dent realistically. It’s going up a few cent every day or two, and a lot of stations will have reduced their margins with the price so high. They’ll take this chance to take some of that back, probably see closer to a 7-10 cent per litre reduction really.
I would rather they give us a percentage off rather than a fixed 20c.

Does anyone actually think this will be passed on? It will just increase profits further for garages.
