It’s a great building but does have an odd fascist vibe to it. You can imagine a Walthamstow Mussolini there. In the summer the fountains are on and it’s a great free area for kids to splash about with enough grass for the rest of the family to lounge on. It really democratises it when it was a stuffy old ornamental fountain and roundabout before.
