We are from the US and we visited Germany last November. We just received a speeding ticket in the mail that we tried to translate with Google Lens, but it's unclear how to pay the 40 euro fine. The online portal seems to be for a "hearing", which is also confusing, and on top of that the last page of the letter received says we cannot pay using the online portal. So how do we pay? Is there even any point in trying to argue the charges?

  1. You can pay online.
    IBAN starts with DE… and it’s bolded.
    And you should write the bolded number(2512316606) in the description of the transaction.
