  1. I don’t disagree with the proposal, but this is mainly necessary because of how easy it is to make a mistake buying a train ticket. The whole £12 minimum fare before 930am on 16-25 Railcard prosecutions debacle is a great example of this.

    So by all means do this but also consider making the ticketing system far easier and simpler to understand.
