  1. There is a time delay.

    The supply decisions you took in 2010, is what energy you get now: Russian natural gas.

    If you decide differently now, it’ll be available in 2034.

  2. Not much of an alternative. We will NOT be independent of oil and gas in the next decade. It’s logistically impossible. Buying Russian means paying with Ukrainian blood. Russia needs to be isolated from the EU energy market asap. Hard time require hard decisions.

  3. By the time that oil and gas is delivered we will either have switched to mainly renewable sources or switched back to sucking off the Russian supply.
