In August 2023, she bought a dream house for her and her now husband Shaman Durek Verrett in Bærum municipalty. The price? 18,65 million NOK. A year and a half later, it remains vacant as she's remained in her home in Lommedalen with her 3 daughters. The two oldest, Maud Angelica (21) and Leah Isadora (19), have already moved out and are regularly in the spotlight. The youngest, Emma Tallulah (16), is still home as of now.

That 250 square meter house was purchased in 2003 for 8,8 million NOK, but afterwards it was expanded with another 180 square meters. Here's where the millions come in.

  • In early 2012, a 5 million NOK mortgage was put on the house for a loan of the same sum.
  • That same July a 3 million NOK loan was taken, with a subsequent mortgage.
  • And in November 2023, a 2 million NOK mortgage.

A month ago, in December 2024, Märtha took up a 10 million NOK security loan on the Bærum house through Handelsbanken. Though you can publicly find this on their website The Norwegian Mapping Authority (Kartverket), have also confirmed their mortgage claim to Se & Hør. The property of the mortgage is collateral until the loan is paid. They also confirm no prior mortgages have been deleted.

Märtha has also had renovation plans, seeking approval for demolishing and expanding parts of it in March. That May, the officials in Planutvalget in Bærum threw a wrench in the gears with a construction ban until a detail adjustment was done, and that that her building request wouldn't go through approval until around New Year's. As of now, there are no updates.

Also, after S&H revealed 3 months later that Märtha and Durek reportedly did not pay their wedding bills of nearly 1 million NOK, they have seemingly been paid by now, almost 2 months after they broke the story.
