That image… the Police car is an A6 (I think), not a small car by any means and it is dwarfed by the Cybermonstrosity… I’m very pleased they’re not allowed on our roads.
> The owner will have to prove ownership and correct insurance prior to release.
They should crush it into a cube.
Looking at the logo on the front this is the same bellend that was trying to get the attention of Daddy Elon on Twitter, boasting about having imported 2 of them into the UK.
Properly made my day reading this. Tremendous.
You just know the owner is an absolute whopper.
That’ll give Musk something else to tweet about how tyrannical our government is and get the King to dissolve parliament
Is this one of the cars that ‘Yanni’ chap imported…he does vehicle wraps
>Officers spotted the eye-catching vehicle, which carries a price tag of about £48,000
Thought these were north of 100k?
Someone on another thread described the CT as 3 ton biffa bin. Apt.
From the beginning it has been well-known that these cars/vans/SUVs are completely road illegal in the UK, but, points for trying I suppose.
What a hideous car.
If you have to drive one of these to let people know you’re a cunt, they probably knew already.
I’m sorry this is funny as fuck. They are deathtraps especially if they strike a pedestrian. I don’t think they will ever be road legal.
This is the new Hummer. A totally impractical overly large car designed for idiots
Live in the local area, the car has been seen over the last few days driving like a total bell end. Surprisingly.
You’ve got to be a special kind of stupid to drive a banned vehicle that sticks out like that.
What a mental midget.
Hopefully it’s crushed.
If anyone would like an extra chuckle have a quick search on what’s going to happen to the bodywork when that wrap is removed.
It really is an ugly design, though. Looks like it was originally thought up by a class of 7 year olds after they watched an old Captain Scarlett to program, then an a bunch of adults took the design and removed anything that made it look cool. And then they paid a bunch of car reporters in America to tell the world it’s awesome. It definitely is not awesome.
I thought you could get away with driving one of these if it’s registered and insured abroad? Wasn’t there an Albanian guy driving one in London.
2025 and people think status, image and ego matters. It’s just an advertisement that they haven’t grown up yet. Hell, imagine try and pass this on a narrow country lane?
Sigh. Another day, another example of an ignorant and selfish driver.
is 48k expensive for a car? i know nothing about cars but i thought that sounds low.
Only know him from doing drag races with the CarWow guy.
Cyber truck should be banned from the UK. It does not conform to a single rule of vehicle safety ESPECIALLY pedestrian safety.
It’s a skip with wheels, dangerous to every other road uset
Lol there is no chance they are getting that back. Fucking idiot.
I love near the end of the article “The Cybertruck, which is made of rocket-like, bullet-proof steel materials”… Hmmm yeah I am sure Musk claims that, but I bet he wouldn’t like anyone putting it to the test.
Fuck Elon. Anyone who buys his vehicles should be seen as a traitor to this country.
Obviously you’d have to be an utter plonker to buy a non-road legal car in the EU and UK, but even then, buying one that is so obviously pants by most accounts takes the biscuit
Am I right in thinking that all of these pieces of shit in the UK have come via Albania? How come they’re coming from Albania if so? Seems a bit obscure.
One of the ugliest vehicles ever created. Potentially the ugliest.
They weight something like 3.5 tons. So will completely fuck our roads, considering snow buggers them enough already.
Look how silly it looks, it dwarf’s most other vehicles and our roads are quite narrow compared to the US. Glad it was seized, hopefully it gets ‘recycled’…
I saw it a few days back near my house. I had a feeling it was banned.
One look at that monstrosity tells you that the driver is compensating for something…
UK residents are not allowed to drive foreign registered vehicles on UK roads, with some exceptions. Exceptions
* **Temporary imports** You can drive a foreign registered vehicle for up to six months if it’s registered and taxed in its home country. You can use it for a single visit or several shorter visits over 12 months.
I never thought they’d build a car uglier than the Fiat Multipla, but it seems they have.
I saw this cyber truck on one of those raffle Facebook pages the other day.
Not sure how the person who planed to drive it would be able to.
Read about another man who got one imported and tried getting it on the road but not being able to. I’d love to drive one just to see what it’s like but the things hideous.
> The Cybertruck, which is made of rocket-like, bullet-proof steel materials, was launched in 2019.
What a weird thing to write about steel
The quality of BBC journalism is so dogshit now. They haven’t been “banned”, they’ve not been approved in the first place. There’s a difference in meaning.
The owner may have had a struggle importing it, I saw a YouTube about a guy trying to legally import one and make it street legal. He had to fly it in because container ships refused to carry it as a fire hazard.

Pretty sure [this](https://www.unilad.com/technology/tesla-cybertruck-yianni-charalambous-uk-road-legal-christmas-478728-20241213) is the guy with the truck.
