  1. This is just our perfidious plan to create a land bridge to England via proxy, because we all know who rules the fucking waves. If you take the German bureaucracy into account, this project is actually progressing pretty quickly.

  2. Can’t we just swap the titles and reduce the Netherlands by approximately 69%?

  3. put it back under the water, it was better that way

    >!(for real tho, i think it is impressive of the dutch)!<

  4. That’s why we must fight the war on climate change

    On the climate change side

  5. To be fair, that’s a much simpler shoreline for the map makers

  6. Swamp Germans beating climate change, one stroopwafel at a time.

  7. It’s about time, we all are polluting our planet like crazy to get rid of dutchs but the bastards are holding tight

  8. If you take the 1300 borders we’re even expanding

  9. What impresses me most is how they maintain the border line. So neat, so tidy.

  10. In a 1 000 years Dutch have stolen so much ocean the sea levels have risen to sink everyone else. Well, almost everyone else, altough sea levels keep rising, Finnish ground keeps rising as well, so we actually gain more land all the time. In but a 1000 years, world will be under water, and only Finland and Netherlands are left. Dutch will be a deep hole in the ocean, kept dry by massively tall dams, and Finland has become a single mountain which will keep rising until it reaches space. In space, we finally might have enough room for all of our 5 people and have some relief from this huge overpopulation our country keeps suffering from.

  11. If it’s any consolation, Jakarta is sinking, and that was Dutch for a while.

  12. You have to give it to Jans and Femkes, their ingenuity is on par with their autism.

  13. There used to be some islands in front of Bruges, but they are just mainland these days

  14. There are united global efforts to turn this trend around. Don’t worry

  15. Don’t worry, if they keep rising they’ll soon fly away from planet earth

  16. never going to be a good side to this global warming lark is there

  17. It’s 2700: the doggerland restoratipn project has just been compleated and is proving to be a great succes. The new land has fixed the housing crisis and we managed to solve the immigration problem by bringing them to the UK border

  18. The one from 1300 is fairly inaccurate in the southwest. The land doesn’t all of a sudden stop at the border, and the village I grew up in was already mentioned in 1100, despite it not being on the map here. There were many more little islands.
