Lot of Americans are suffering in the so-called rich country, because of extreme inequality and brutal capitalism. Everyone deserves a living wage to afford the basics, not luxuries. Food, home, healthcare and education.

    The rich get richer and the ones working every day and living paycheck to paycheck or saving in cash have never had higher prices and less opportunity to thrive.

Remember, Free Market Capitalism has been definitively proven to the be the most fair economic system ever devised and has lifted the most people out of poverty the World over, and its not even debatable anymore vs authoritarian and centrally planned economies. The countries that are doing the worst today are the ones that have departed from Free Market Capitalism the most. Interference in the market by government is in fact the #1 problem we face right now as it always leads to higher prices and scarcity.

  8. Most of China works 12 hr days 6 days a week. And there are also a lot of manufacturing sites that have dormitories and keep their workers pretty much locked in. It’s not good being working class in China. She should compare us to a country like Denmark that has lots of time off and can afford basic necessities

    My Canadian province provides day care at $7/day, relatively affordable rent, and healthcare. Our tax rates would probably be unacceptable to her.

  29. China and 40 hour work weeks do not go together unless you are upper class in China. The poorest Chinese are working 70 hour weeks with no vacations and 1 day off per week.
