Wheatley rape trial: Men acquitted of rape charges on teens

1. What the fuck happened here? At the very best this guy *admitted to statutory rape in a fucking courtroom*! How was he found not guilty of sexual activity with a child? Did this guy manage to ply the jury with the same drugs he gave to these girls?

2. So they admitted having sex with the underage girls after giving them drugs and alcohol, but the jury didn’t believe the girls, and now they walk free… but somehow they found one of them guilty of making indecent images of a child, but the sex was consentual? Wtf.

3. Ashley Mundee, 22, and Huseyin Ninnola, 23, were both on trial at Oxford Crown Court accused of sexually assaulting two 15-year-old girls on July 18 last year.
   They are accused of plying the teens with alcohol and drugs before driving them to an isolated farm track in Wheatley and assaulting them.

   Ninnola, of Downs Road, Lower Hackney, was also found not guilty of one count of attempting to rape a child, two counts of sexual activity with a child, two counts of sexual activity and one count of strangulation.
   However, he was found guilty of making indecent photographs of a child.
   Mundee, of Hertford Road, Enfield, had pleaded guilty prior to the trial of two alternative counts of sexual activity with a child.

   So just so we are all clear, a 23 year old had sex with a drunk 15 year old ( a year away from the legal age of consent) and took pictures… and he has previously had sexual activity with a child twice.

   Does the justice system even exist anymore?

4. So what I can gather is one guy claimed the sex was consensual and the jury believed this. He admitted having sex with underage age girls and was found guilty of that offence.

   The other guy denied rape, and denied any sexual contact with the girls and the jury believed him. He was found guilty of taking indecent photos of the girls though.

5. I am surprised they don’t make you censor THAT word, rape. I guess uknews takes no issue with that, eh? But, racism will get action taken.

6. We have the most feeble justice system on the planet. Sex crimes are not taken seriously enough at all.

7. This is why the men got away with it in the grooming gangs. Basically, the public views working-class young girls who are troubled, drink, and take drugs as deserving of this type of violence against them. It has more to do with the attitude society has toward the victims rather than the ethnicity of the predators.

    Was the jury made up of all their cousins or something???

11. Remember, if the CPS actually agreed to bring charges, the evidence is absolutely overwhelming. They brought charges on only 5% of rape cases in 2023
