Russian cops arrest EVERYONE – even a pro-war protestor!

  1. The reality in an authoritarian regime is that nobody can protest anything. There’s no right to free assembly or speech. I’m sure Russia does have those rights enshrined somewhere in its constitution. So did the USSR.

  2. This just shows how unpopular the war is. The police automatically assume everyone opening their mouth is against it and arrest them preemptively…

  3. FYI, the Russian constitution (even after the illegal amendments [illegal because each amendment needed to be introduced separately]), retains that every person can have freedom of opinion, speech and thought.
It also states that every citizen has the right to peaceful assembly.

    In practice, watch the video:

  4. She was just about to say “Invasion”, which is a forbidden word. The russian police are doing well to stop these insurgent mind-crimes. /s

  5. I wonder if this will make her question who/what she is blindly supporting. Or maybe she agrees with being detained…

  6. The title is misleading. Truth is, she wasn’t actually arrested, it was a special detention operation.

  7. Russian cops are not arresting EVERYONE. They are conducting special police operation to promote peace and happiness amongst russian citizens.

  8. They knew she was being ironic. Besides, ALL demonstrations are illegal in Russia unless cleared with the local authorities beforehand.
