Earlier this week, Moldovan broadcaster, TRM revealed the 29 artists (with 30 songs) auditioning for Etapa Națională 2025, Moldova’s process to select their Eurovision representative.
The auditions took place at TRM Studio 2 in Chișinău and were broadcast live for all to watch. 4 acts were disqualified or withdrew before the auditions, so the remaining 25 artists (26 songs) took the stage to perform their song(s) for the audition round.

After all 26 songs were performed, 12 acts were chosen to advance to the final. The 12 acts were decided by 100% jury votes.
The 12 qualifiers will take the stage for the Etapa Națională 2025 Final on 22 February. The winner, decided by 50% jury and 50% public votes, will represent Moldova at Eurovision in Basel this May.

Moldova has participated in the Eurovision Song Contest every year since their debut in 2005.
Their best result was in 2017, when Sunstroke Project finished 3rd with the hit Hey Mamma.
