America is the country that loves to devastate other countries by any means necessary. I won't be shedding a tear for their loss now that the shoe is on the other foot.
Wt_ Ukraine war cost me a lot
Why not have an underground water storage under each house that can cool and wet the house during fires?
U$ R&D should focus on technologies to exterminate wildfires, not to exterminate a defendless population.
And since D. Trump is a climate change denier we will have even more costly fires the coming years.
Blaming the insurance industry is such a dumb tactic.
The government wasn’t doing what they are supposed to be doing to help prevent or minimize wildfire risk and damage.
Why on earth would a business whose whole business is risk assessment sell insurance to a state that is neglectful?
Do people not realize that an insurance company is not a charity or government agency? They don’t have to exist. If insurance companies didn’t exist what would the government do?
Aid to Israel, neglect at home😅
😅😅
On Sunday 05/01/'25 Global Globe Award Remember what happen
Isnt it ironic the most materialistic state in the world got hit by wildfires. Wow
"According to a Wall Street Journal report, the US has recently sold Israel $8 billion worth of weapons, including MK-84 and BLU-109 bombs, AMRAAM and Hellfire missiles. Additionally, another $680 million worth of weapons sales are planned, including Joint Direct Attack Munition Kits and Small Diameter Bombs. In total, Israel has been provided with $17.9 billion worth of military aid.
This decision raises serious questions about US priorities. While states like California are waiting for the help they need to rebuild after wildfires, our government is prioritizing foreign military aid. Wouldn't it be right to put our own citizens' needs first? Such a policy only serves to ignore domestic challenges and undermine public trust."
The richest people in the world have lost material possessions. Let’s not lose too much sleep over this.
There's little doubt that the cost will be record-breaking. The damage is still piling up.
How does the cost of reducing climate change compare?
Most expensive in history… so far
send 10 billion urgent aid to izril lol
the housing price on those areas are inflating so the cost of rebuilding is 80% less than what it is estimated
they are not accounting for "loss of value of real estate". now, that people have witnessed such a massive wildfire, nobody would buy homes in LA, so real estate value will go down atleast 50% in entire LA region. its true value would surely cross a trillion mark.
Nice, Thank you Allah <3
The biggest insurance scam in history
That’s how the countries that America bomb feel ,
I see many comments about the fact that America is rich ,so one should not loose sleep about what happened to California. 3 remarks about these heartless comments:
– Are we so jealous that the impact of such a catastrophe should be seen only through the prism of money? If you have worked hard all your life and lost everything, is it less heartbreaking because you had become rich?
– There is a difference between the sense of justice and sheer jealousy.
– Many Americans live in relatively impoverished suburbs that were also affected by fire.
KarmAg3dd0n of Arrogant Goverment.
If a fire of this magnitude happened in Beijing or Shanghai, Western media would immediately attribute it to flaws in China’s political system and corruption. Top Chinese officials would likely face severe consequences, including imprisonment. However, since this happened in Los Angeles, the blame will be scattered, accountability will be evaded, and the cycle will repeat. Fires have occurred in California numerous times, yet nothing substantial seems to change.
Being from europe one wonder what the outcome would be if the houses was build of brig and tile with power cables in the ground. You see chimneys and foundations still standing
Just give the home owners the money they paid to the policy over the years. What about that?
Thank you for the report
In California pick the wrong time to go to war with Trump. Especially over an issue that he's campaign as a problem for years. California Gamble that the big fire wouldn't come and it's here.
Wait until 2026. And 2027…
In progressive thinking, anything that goes wrong is to be blamed on some combination of the following
1. Climate Change
2. Systemic Racism
3. Capitalism
4. Right-wing/Trump
Yes, it more expensive than the curret war funding.
Bad Luck for Ukraine
The cause of the LA fires is unknown but there have been many theories including arson. How easy it would be for determined terrorists or professsional agents of hostile governments, like China, to initiate a fire using the most basic equipment like a blow torch or box of match sticks!! An act of sabotage that will cost billions and billion of dollars in damages. Doesn't this show how vulnerable parts of the US infrastucture are? Water supplies and the electric grid would also be easy targets. So just how great is US security? President Trump are you listening? Have you anything to say about this very menacing situation?
