Looks more likely to be small mines than an AGL. It’d be impressive marksmanship with a Mk19, honestly.

You can see something hit the dirt in front of him a few frames before the first explosion. Looks like a perfectly thrown grenade.
And just think people were scared of the Russian military for so long

I know y’all are saying mine… but slowly pause around 39 seconds and slowly watch something dark come into frame above the soldier… I definitely think it’s a 40mm. Literally viewable for 3 frames prior to explosion. Maybe it set off a mine nearby

that’s wild. good spot for a mine. I just watched a video on a Vietnam vet who fought in Hue. he saw a lone tile In his path as he ran and decided go hop over it. afterward finding out a mine was placed beneath.
I would’ve never seen this mine under that rock. there’s so much other debris… who would know?
His crawling is absolutely not military standard. What he’s doing would have gotten me weekend shift 😅
Former usmc machine gunner here who used the mk19 regularly . Definitely not a 40mm. My money is on a mine . Besides with a mk19 you are doing larger bursts and it looks like a mini version of cluster munitions .
No more special military operation for him.
I can’t listen to Keine lust the same way every again

That looks about right for the time period.
When the fighting kicked off using those mk-19s on the original ‘22 fortified line became a regular tactic when the DPR/LPR cannon fodder troops used to rush positions.

I remember seeing this at the beginning of the war. I believe it was confirmed back then to be a mk 19 but I don’t remember.
