So the cynical “promise” they made to pass the Bill if re-elected was exactly that, just an grubby electoral ploy to exploit the general populations’ support for the bill while never intending to follow through because they have never wanted to pass the bill, they have obstructed the bill, and when given the parliamentary time by opposition to pass the bill before the election they refused to do so.
Even by their standards this is low, low stuff. Really shameful in how self-serving and duplicitous this is, but it has played out exactly as I said it would and I wish I had been wrong but this was so predictable.
This does not represent us….threatened by multinationals maybe withdrawing….fuck them see how they go.
