CQB: Ukrainian soldiers of the 28th Mechanized Brigade, with the support of a tank, took out Russian soldiers who broke into their position in a building. The Russian assault was repelled and the position recaptured. Krymske, Donetsk. January 2025
It never ceases to amaze me how close to enemy positions some of these Ukrainian tanks operate.
Although it’s been several decades since I was in the army, our training was very clear about never intentionally getting our armoured vehicles that close to an enemy position. I guess the wide use of drones nowadays can help in having a better idea of the enemy’s anti-tank capabilities, but I would still feel quite uncomfortable in my AFV operating that close to a known enemy infantry position.
Just to clarify: This is the Krymske near Toretsk. (There are other villages with the same name…)
best music choice for a tank fucking up enemy positions
ah yes, the old tank CQB
When someone calls their big brother to take care of the neighborhood bullies.
Tank comes storming in, “you messing with my little buddies?!”
Song?
Song name?
Gotta be such a relief to have enemy forces in your building and then to hear a tank is on the way to help.
