Let’s make sure we always emphasize that. This is climate change ADAPTATION And we are having to pay in pounds when we could have instead done PREVENTION and paid in mere ounces…. And the important thing is to not wail about missed opportunity, but to learn the lesson because we have to make that same choice right now: do we pay ounces of prevention against EVEN WORSE future catastrophe or just wait till we get hammered and then try to adapt when we do Bigger recovery the next time?
