This clock comes from the castle of [Schwedt](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Schwedt) an der Oder (and) came by inheritance to the Köppen family, which lastly lived in Dresden, A 41, Oster-Seifferth-Straße 20 [I can’t find that street so I’m not sure if that’s right] (Coschütz-Gittersee [both parts of Dresden]). From there I bought it in 1947 for 300 Reichsmarks. At that time, a farm worker was paid about 1 Reichsmark per hour.
You’re right, that’s German. I can recognize some words instantly but I’ll need more time for the rest.
The particular thing about this is that it seems to switch between different scripts sometimes (e.g. using two different ways for uppercase S).

There I bought the same one in the Year of 1947 for 300 Reichsmark [German currency at the time]. A ??? [probably a kind of profession] earned at the time around 1 Reichsmark per hour.
