Can’t blame them. Canadians think there’s too much bureaucracy here 😂
You mean the one that’s been investigated for dodgy deals, funding wars and can’t get their IT working? Yeah it’s definitely the red tape and nothing to do with the rest…
‘Deregulate or we’ll leave! Deregulate or we’ll leave! Deregulate or we’ll leave!’
The mating call of the Banking Parasite.
Oh no. If they leave where else will I put my money? Oh yeah another bank.
Red tape means regulation that keeps senior leaders personally accountable for their actions and prevents them from expkoting vulnerable people.
Recent red tape has stopped exploitative over draft charges, capped pay day lenders, and made sure people can afford the money they borrow.
Its like the car industry threatening to quit because they have to install seatbelts.
Good riddance!

A spokesman for Santander UK said: “The UK is a core market for Santander and this has not changed.”
No chance of them leaving…
We don’t have a shortage of banks here. Won’t be missed – good luck elsewhere
They’re a shit bank anyway
I don’t think the Torygraph knows what an “embarrassing defeat” is.
Bank gets told to have a small percentage of money in its accounts to cover bad debts and gets a massive fine for scamming people
Oh no, the red tape! The red tape is soo bad!
Maybe just don’t scam people…
