slide 5 made me do a double take but these are very cool :]
Why is there a cheetah humping a gazelle
So, no actual animals then? Bold move for a zoo.
I’m pretty sure that most of these were at a temporary exhibition at MK.
They are very cool to look at up close.
Haven’t been there since I was a kid. Is it still very shit?
These are amazing
This was announced as the summer holiday event in the twycross calendar. I guess no one else wants the models yet, so twycross have just kept them in place.
Martin Mere has something similar with birds (and an otter).
I like it, reminds me of that holographic circus act.
I absolutely love the ape. I’m now singing “King of the Swingers” in my head.
They’ve had these up since June. I’ve got to say, twycross has really gone downhill.
No elephants.
The gruffalo thing is shite.
The goat trail was awful.
The thing my kids enjoyed the most is when we sat down for a drink and a duck came waddling up to us with about 7 ducklings.
Shame really, used to be good.
I identify with the lego polar bear screaming at the ground
The guys at r/lego would appreciate this
So are they solid lego? Or are they lego shells wrapped around a pulped core of old Chinese newspapers?
The Lego Tigers are the only tigers you’ll see there every single time I’ve been in the last year which is 4 times no tiger…
love how gamey/pixelated they look
If I had a penny for each of the lego animals at Twycross zoo that look inappropriate I’d have two pence, which isn’t a lot but it’s weried that it happened twice.
Wym? These are real animals?
Those are all really cool.
The African Lion (photo 3) reminds me of those FMV games from the early 90s.
Reminds me of the time I witnessed the zookeeper take a misstep in the lion enclosure. It wouldn’t lego of her leg.
These are great but the area they’re in looks shite.
Anyone know how these are made? Surely they can’t be made by hand, the design work alone must take weeks.
