I have already used 3 different WC-cleaners but nothing is working. I put cleaning liquid for 15-30 minutes, then use brush to scrub it off. No luck so far. Can you please recommend anything to clean this?

  1. Benutze Zahnersatz reiniger Tabs. Übernacht sitzen lassen und am morgen geht das super leicht weg.

  2. 15-30 min is way too short for this kind of soiling. Leave the cleaning detergent in there over night. „00 WC Pulver“ is a great product for this.

  3. I just buy WC tablet packs from any supermarket. Then put one there for 15-20 minutes and clean with a brush. Repeat it every day until it is gone. It removes a layer every time. 2-3 days and it will be gone. You can do it every hour if you want it gone in one day.

  4. What cleaners did you use? There are heavy duty tabs you can get at dm or Rossmann. They work overnight.

Also, you can use a hang in cleaner for ongoing exposition.

If nothing helps you can use a heavy duty tab with letting it rinse for 20 min and pouring boiling water on it. The boiling water increases the rate of the reaction.

This is calcified and while theoretically reactive to cleaner components needs time as it is quite hard.

  5. Zitronensäure, give it ~ 15 minutes, use a brush and rinse it off well.

  6. DanKlorix. Just a little bit and let soak over night.

  7. Coca-Cola over night. Same as using phosphoric acid.

  8. Kill it with fire.

OK… you may have hard water, meaning minerals are mixed in with the usual gunk.

If you know how, I’d turn off the water intake (it’s just a valve beneath the toilet, unless it’s an ‘internally mounted’ toilet). Flush it dry to remove as much water as possible (so it can’t refill), then try more cleaner. But either way, you’ll have to get down and scrub with something.

The answer you’re not going to like: Get some long rubber gloves (yellow), a good pot-scrubbing sponge, cleaner of choice, dunk your hands in, and go to town. I’d wear a face mask too, just not to gag. Throw it all away after. The cleaners can only ‘melt’ away so much. I’d first try the strong vinegar you can find in DM and Rossman (or cleaning section of supermarkets). If that doesn’t work, see what does.

  9. You can use a tab from your dishwasher. Let it sit for some hours or overnight.

  10. You will get many recommendations for this answer.

Just make sure you test them one by one and do NOT pour them together!

  11. You can get Urinsteinentferner from most supermarkets. It’s a relative weak hydrochloric acid solution – works much better and faster than vinegar

  12. Pour a generous amout of pure citric acid in the water, let it sit for at least half an hour ideally over night or a working day, then it should be relatively easy to scrub/ flush off. But it will also corrode the surface of the bowl, making it more susceptible to stains in the future, but this applies to most suggestions posted here

  13. You can also use a dishwasher tab. Let it sink for an hour and brush it then.

  14. The very expensive toilet cleaning gel. The gel settles on the deposits under water and dissolves the dirt. After a few hours, scrub a little with the toilet brush and flush. Done.
    Kind regards

  15. Hot water first an d add two spoon of citric acid crystals. Wait over night. Flush.
    Repeat if necessary.
