Princess Eugenie has shared a loved-up, black and white snap with her husband, Jack Brooksbank, as they celebrate their sixth wedding anniversary today.
Along with the romantic image posted on Instagram, the post read: “Best day ever marrying you.. happy 6th anniversary my love” alongside four red hearts, and an emoji of a ring and a wedding chapel.
The couple, who met in 2010 at Verbier, a Swiss holiday resort and ski area, married in St George’s Chapel, Windsor Castle, in 2018 – a few months after Prince Harry and Meghan Markle tied the knot.
Since the wedding, Eugenie and Jack have gone on to have two sons August, three, and Ernest, one.
Alongside the image of Princess Eugenie kissing her husband on her wedding day, is another image of the royal duo outside St George’s Chapel after their nuptials.
Royal fans have flocked to social media to congratulate the couple and comment on the image posted.
One fan wrote: “The most magical day full of love. You two are the best xx.”
Whereas another wrote: “Happy anniversary to you both. Can’t believe it is 6 years ago.”
A third fan commented: “Happy Anniversary your wedding dress was spectacular.”
After seven years of dating, Jack proposed to Eugenie during their trip to Nicaragua, and later chose a beautiful engagement ring with a rare padparadscha sapphire surrounded by diamonds.
Princess Eugenie wowed fans on her wedding day with her dress on October 12, 2018, when she stepped out of the car with her dad Prince Andrew by her side. Eugenie, the youngest child of the Duke and Duchess of York, wore a dress made by Peter Pilotto and Christopher de Vos.
The dress also had a low back design to show Eugenie’s scar from scoliosis surgery, a cause she has spoken out about in the past and since the wedding.
To finish her outfit, the Princess also borrowed the Greville Emerald Kokoshnik tiara from her grandmother, the late Queen Elizabeth II.
Today, the Princess and her young family currently split their time between Ivy Cottage at Kensington Palace in London and Portugal, where Jack works at a property development business, Discovery Land Company.
