  2. Anyone else find it ridiculous that people would need to receive a presidential pardon, when they have not committed any crimes, purely to protect them from the retribution of the incoming president?

  4. It’s both sad and funny. Sad that an outgoing president would have to proactively pardon people who have not committed any actual crimes in an attempt to prevent the incoming repeat felon of a president from taking revenge on people who tried to stand up to him. And funny that Biden thinks a presidential pardon would mean anything to the 34 time felon and convicted rapist should he chose to enact his own retribution, of which, he has already stated he plans to regardless of any proof of criminal activity.

  13. Is Trump really going to punish people who either spoke out against him or refuted his bullshit? If yes, then freedom is truly over, guys, and it’ll get worse. I don’t believe for a minute that he’ll only be like that for a day, toward only certain people.

  14. Had lunch with an old friend of mine last week and found out he is a tRumpian who said Cheney did nothing wrong but thought Fauci belongs in jail for some mysterious crime.

    This is someone who is pretty smart and otherwise sane. None of tRump’s opponents are safe.

  24. Democrats will see this as a sad reflection of our current political landscape, and necessary to avoid retribution from Trump. Republicans will see this as validation that those pardoned committed crimes. We live in two different realities.

  25. The question remains whether these pardons will truly be protective. I hope they will be, but I’m not confident. The incoming POS is pure evil. Nevertheless, I’m glad Biden is doing this. It’s definitely necessary and should at the very least complicate things for 🍊 💩-ler.

  27. It is for protection, all related to their jobs in politics. Trump is a loose cannon and could want to charge anyone who disagrees with him. Also, the fact Biden is pardoning a Republican should be telling.

    Also, in December 2020, Trump pardoned numerous other people for personal gain, some of whom had been charged and others who had not been charged yet. One personal pardon was for Charles Kushner (Ivanka’s father-in-law). Oh, and he has since been appointed ambassador for France

    Is this allowed, of course, but please only go off the deep end for Bidens.

  33. I had an inkling that Biden would pardon Fauci. He’s done yeoman’s work for the US for decades and to have his career tainted by someone who listens to RFK Jr.? Fauci worked on AIDS — he was hated then respected — and then Covid. Thanks Dr. Fauci!
