Looking for Voluntarily Childfree Women in Belgium for my Master Thesis

I wanted to address a recurring question (hence I’m putting this edit at the top) on nationality. You DON’T have to be Belgian to participate. My study is open to ALL voluntarily CF (including trans) women living in Belgium. Hi, guys!

A few months ago, I made [this post](https://www.reddit.com/r/belgium/comments/rct25o/dating_in_belgium_as_a_childfree_cf_individual/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=web2x&context=3), where I mentioned in the last paragraph that I’ll be looking to interview participants for my thesis project on exploring voluntary childfreeness in Belgium.

Well, I’m happy to announce that I recently received Ethics approval from the Ethics Committee at UAntwerp, therefore, I have the green light to recruit participants. I have attached a screenshot of the Ethics approval, since I’m not sure how to attach a PDF file here.

The title of my thesis is: A Phenomenological Exploration of Voluntarily Childfree Women in Belgium. **To that effect, I’m sorry gents, I’m looking for only voluntarily childfree women.**

In order not to make this a long post, there is a screenshot (again, don’t know how to attach PDF files) of the criteria for participant recruitment. It was one of seven (7) supporting documents I submitted to the Ethics Committee for evaluation and approval.

**If you are a voluntarily childfree woman, have a voluntarily CF female partner, or know a voluntarily CF woman who might be interested in participating, please don’t hesitate to send me a chat (I don’t discriminate against Reddit chats) or DM.**

All information and documentation on informed consent, your privacy, usage of your data, and all other relevant information will be provided to you on first contact. These documents were also submitted to the Ethics Committee for evaluation and approval. I will also explain how the interview will work. As a novice researcher, a second year PhD student (i.e., my mentor) will be present in the first few interviews.

As I’m not a native NL/FR speaker, the interviews will be conducted in English.

Lastly, this is the first of its kind here in Belgium, so I’m super excited about my project! I hope you’ll be excited to contribute to this subject area, bring more awareness to it, and possibly more research in this area!
