The irony is that China will save the world. America and its industry will be largely obsolete, as everyone else moves to solar/wind/battery in droves with the crashing prices of Chinese batteries.
I have no choice but to support China’s efforts to save our planet. Don’t bother with the canned arguments about whatever China is doing that is supposedly worse than ending civilization over personal greed because I don’t care. At least one of the “superpowers” is thinking about long term survival. That’s better than zero.
