208 floods since 1827 and it got much worse over the last 25 years when they allowed open cast mining further up the River Nith that stripped all the trees, turf and peat away and didn’t bother investing in the flood plains…
Aw come on, knowing your car might get washed away if you park at the sands is part of the character of the town at this point. Can’t be fixing it now.
