  1. So.. how will this affect US relations now that apparently a certain salute was seen as “normal” for this new administration to the nations of Europe?

  7. It would be nice if a senior politician from elsewhere condemned this action. The silence over his behaviour and the sucking up to Trump is quite nauseating. 

  8. Watch any old video of Hitler doing the salute. Musk did it exactly the same but with even more passion.

  9. I personally think it was the behavior of someone who’s neurodivergent and had just done some ‘k.’ No fan of Elon, but I think he just got overexcited. But that’s no reason not to condemn him, because the inappropriateness—intentional or not—is still there and should be called out to prevent it from being legitimized.

  16. We saw what we saw. The thing about Trump world is they do outrageous things to distract you from the outrageous things they are actually doing.

    Musk is a Nazi. I didn’t need convincing before this incident either. That being said, I’m not going to focus on this, but rather that slew of executive orders, pardons, etc that they don’t want us paying attention to.

  17. When Henry Ford did that stuff at least they sued him for libel when his paper wrote about a specific company being part of a Jewish conspiracy. This automaker is different. He already won the pedo libel lawsuit and since he’s in USA Swastikas and Sieg Heils should be legal. In Europe he would be in trouble. An ADF politician constantly uses Hitler mottos and he got fined for it. I would even assume some European countries may ban Elon for this. UK and Germany could. He would need a very good excuse.

  18. Elon is a weird fellow. I feel like people making more out of it then it is. My first reaction was anger, but on a second watch i realised that he was talking about “giving his heart” to the people.

    He seems to have moved so awkwardly, that made everyone assuming he is throwing a nazi salute.

    I feel like his body just got very funky in the heat of the moment.

  22. No, it wasn’t a nazi salute, it’s just the weird movement trying to point to sky plus the clumsiness autistics have.

    Please focus on more important matters related to geopolitics like the border stance with Mexico or Ukraine support situation.

  26. If only there was a way for him to clear up his intentions using some kind of service for disseminating information to the masses… Like that old app Twitter was used for. Unfortunately I doubt he will because it’s more important to “own the libs” and watch his political adversaries squirm than to denounce fascism and Nazism.

  27. Is there any video evidence of anyone ever doing this so called “My heart goes out to you” gesture? I see a lot of people who all of a sudden seem to think this is a normal and common gesture.
