This is the single most impressive perspective of an intercept I have ever seen
I’ve always thought pantsirs were pretty cool and a little terrifying. I used to fly on helicopters in the marines and Russias IR guided missiles were always concerning for “what if” planning. Was always nice that the non russian militaries who bought them were typically shit at training on and implementation of whatever system they bought.
I still heard a drone motor after that explosion
Either they intercept a drone or a full crowded passenger plane
Thank you for geolocation, kind russian
That was cool af
thats an amazing view
I know a couple of families that aren’t going to sleep tonight.
Hats off to the presumably ramdom Russian civilian filming. Great camera tracking.
I wonder if it has launched previously because he seemed to know where to point.
Ignoring the views of the war, that was surprisingly cinematic. You can see the moment the Pantsir missile launches from the glow reflection from the cloud, which followed the the motor of the interceptor all the way to the drone.
Then, you get the missile rising into view, consistent bearing, increasing exhaust size.
Finally you get that camera pan at the as the missile soars across the screen and hits the drone.
War can be paradoxically beautiful at times.
Its really cool to see lighting of the missile going fast through the city area so low to the ground.
insane footage
Wow, an actual non passenger plane intercept
Russian crap actually works?
Nope, the mopet sound continued so no harm done to the drone.
This is incredible
Beware the debris
Can still hear a prop in the last second. We sure it was actually intercepted?
Damn that was cool
Fuck that was cool.
Fuck Russia but that looked cool.
The technology involved boggles the mind
This is some of the best footage of an intercept I’ve ever seen. And it’s eerie as well. We normally think of the war being fought in some barren field, littered with craters from artillery. Or a missile on its way to some military base or some gathering troops. But this looks like it could have been filmed close to my house. It’s eye opening.
Fuck Russia, but that was fucking cool as hell to watch.
That’s fucking nuts! Such a low shot to boot.
Once again another fantastic air defence shot and kill. Great perspective.
Need drones with HARM missiles to kill their radars.
Wow. That was super fast.
Anyone got a ballpark on the costs of drone vs missile?
Wow such a low intercept. Impressive. Amazon footage
Dat acceleration curve.
God damn that was really low.
The cameraman did an outstanding job keeping track of the missile and the explosion 👏 👏 👏 👏 👏
Pity the AA worked today.
Pretty incredible, thanks for sharing.
I have a feeling that the shrapnel of the intercepting missile probably did more damage exploding in this ultra-low altitude over this rather densely populated area than the drone.
