I see the neighbours also like to give out merch .Over the years Bulgarian politicians have given out candies , lighters , socks , pens and pocket calendars to win over voters . And ,lets not forget the gigantic grills parties they used to throw pre pandemic -were you could get free food for your (possible )vote .And people say there is no free lunch . There is – but only at election time .(One could imagine all the money that they saved during the pandemic since such cook out are not allowed due to the restrictions . )
Coffee?
And some kind of pastry?
How do you prove you voted for them?
My grandad would request the conservative party car volunteers give him a lift to the polls for every election. When he got in, slowly, walking with his cane, he cast his vote for the labour party, for all the years of the rest of his life that I can remember. A gift they would not have wanted to give.
What the hell? And I gave my vote away for free all these years..man…
Some sugar too to sweeten then deal 😁
this happens in italy, only illegally
Do you get it as a gift to advertise their party, or afterwards as a kind of payment?
неготин in bulgarian means “not cool”, like “notcool”
Is that even supposed to be allowed?
I think this is illegal in Finland. Parties gives free things and food in hope for votes, but they don’t give anything from voting them.
hahahahah similar shit happens in Turkey too
In Bulgarian, “negotin” would mean “not-cool” lol
In Hungary it’s a big sack of potato…
How do they know for whom you have voted?
How is that even legal. It should be banned since it’s a form of bribery.
How do they know who votes for who?
In my country, you would get a jar of conserved pork meat or a package of buckwheat if you voted for the commies. So many people voted only for this, especially the elderly without realizing they got tricked…
People of Europe, send us help please
The fuck is this bourgeois shit? All we get are potatoes…
And 3000 dinar (~25€)
It’s nice to see our fellow Balkan countries learning from invincible galaxy leader, the shadow of the prophet and his divine highness Erdoğan(!) However, you have to work harder. Creating a horde of zombies surviving on cheap pasta and bad quality coal is not an easy job!
Here in Argentina this is extremely common. They even cut water deliveries to people that got not running water because they didn’t vote for them if I remember correctly.

Really?
Damn, should have voted for them
And coffee doesn’t even weigh 100g as stated on the package but 84g
[In Hungary you will get this](https://nepszava.hu/i/16/10/1/1292992.jpg)
Who is paying for that?
[This](https://cdn4.focus.bg/fakti/photos/big/9e9/gerb-i-dps-kupuvat-glasove-s-brashno-oriz-i-sol-1.jpg) happens here too… we’re Balkan experts in such methods.
This only would make me vote someone else…
