Israel’s Netanyahu accuses Hamas of ‘reneging’ on Gaza ceasefire deal • FRANCE 24 English

Israeli Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu on Thursday accused Hamas of “reneging” on parts of the Gaza ceasefire agreement announced by mediators the previous day. The PM’s office said the cabinet, which was set to ratify the deal later Thursday, would not convene until Hamas backs down from what it called a “last minute crisis”. France 24’s Andrew Hilliar takes a closer look.

  1. Who put the terrorists in charge of making deals?
President Trump said ALL hostages must be released by January 20th, but terrorists said
    NOT gonna happen.

  2. The premature celebrations are a fantasy. NOTHING of any substance has been achieved with this flimsy and volatile cease-fire. No useful objectives have been set or attained by this fantasy agreement.

If a true treaty that made for equality and no apartheid from both sides, then the release of all prisoners/hostages would have been a given.

Palestinians are being made a mockery of AGAIN*, at the expense of the broad Palestinian population. Palestinian leaders are a joke of negotiators with only self-serving objectives and *NO CONSIDERATION for the rest of Palestinians.

  3. Imagine a small group(Palestine Resistance) with their arms made guns…fighting against sufesticated bombs and hi-tech tanks and many more, but Patestine Resistance is still undefeated.

  4. Amazing how people on here think a group like Hamas who murdered women and children, wouldn’t be responsible on sabotaging a deal. Those heroic resistance fighters that target civilians. What a joke

  5. … no cabinet meeting to "rubber stamp the deal" . Not very professional language. In fact quite insulting.better to say "no cabinet meeting to ratify the deal".

  6. Off course he is.A dangerous pathological liar and a criminal. Sooner or later he will face justice. Our government needs to stop kissing this country's arse.

  7. Netanyahu is not capable of keeping a deal/promise. His heart is hardened so fast from 1 day to the next that his word can't be trusted to be kept. Reminds me of King Saul, the Israeli Benjamite King, arch-nemesis of King David.
