Ok… suggestions for Britain: if you don’t put your money to your pensioners, help with energy crisis and inflation, so spend it wisely… for peace make bicultural festivals ( Russian and Ukrainian); for sport competitions invest in stadiums where Russians can play soccer with Ukrainians ( maybe English too); two languages as they have in Canada ( not stopping Russian social networks [long before 2022] or prohibiting printing in Russian language in the country where is a half speaks Russian ; maybe Britain can invest in museums where dual versions of events explained ( how it was explained during times when Ukraine was part of USSR and how it’s explained now by nationalists of Ukraine). Oh are that serious men on the stage yet again hyping about future 100 years of military antagonism and hatred?

    Starmer's words are mere platitudes and reassurances which carry little or no weight. The only parties who can decide or influence Ukraine's future are America and Russia. That is Trump and Putin, (at the moment).

19. Britain's total tank force is equal in size to Russia's tank losses each month in Ukraine. This means that the British army would only survive for 1 month if they were sent to Ukraine. It is worse than that, according to Ukraine Britain no longer manufactures Challenger 2 shells and so even if the tiny British tank force was to survive then they would soon run out of ammunition.

    One reason for the UK's tiny number of armoured vehicles is Britain's obsession with producing a small number of very high tech vehicles. Britain needs to also continue to manufacture older tech vehicles to build up numbers. What Ukraine has proven is that all tanks whether high of low tech don't last very long at the front. Russia's tank numbers are now so depleted that they mostly field 1960's manufactured T62 tanks. They are no less durable than Russia's latest T90 tanks.
