What you get for voting for the ruling party in Hungary:

  1. In France the deputies of the left wing party La France Insoumise made the same thing when they protested against a drop of our APL ( Aide personnalisée au logement )

I’m feeling lazy to explain in plain English what is this about, basically an aid for poorer families and young worker to benefit for their housing, and with that being able to pay less that they would normally do, it’s a protection shield in short.

[So they brought with them what they](https://youtu.be/lBdBW8Yi3bM) – but more like poor people / lower class – could buy with those 5 € that’s been dropped from the APL.

  2. Oh yes, 5kg of potatoes worth like 3,6 eur, for me who loves french fries enough for a week maybe 😀

  3. This same exact thing happened in Georgia a couple of years ago. The ruling party was giving away onion sacks and potatoes for votes.

  4. does anybody know what “a sack of potatoes” means in that special bidirectional english/hungarian dictionnary from monty python?
