Russia launched dozens of missiles and drones at the Ukrainian energy sector, Kyiv said Wednesday, ramping up a months-long bombing campaign at a precarious moment of the war for Ukraine. The barrage came just one day after Kyiv said it had carried out its largest ever aerial attack on Russian army factories and energy hubs hundreds of kilometres from the front line. The answer is simple. The Western regions of Ukraine are supplied by electricity from the EU countries.

USA sends missiles to Ukraine and provides target data to fire missiles into Russia. Russia recruits some arsonists to start fires in Los Angeles when wind is blowing. Russian action is brilliant because of huge damage caused and plausible denaibilty.
