Being from Ireland and having lived in Dublin for years this photo is intriguing.
It’s like I know it’s Dublin – I can tell by the bridge but it’s almost like the street is so open and accessible.
Honestly if I did not know Dublin and some said guess where this is and I see the awnings out – I’d be saying continent more like a part of Paris or somewhere regional in France but not Dublin.
Dare I say it but it almost looks too ‘chic’ for Dublin!
So many buses.
Looks nicer than o’connell street today.
Nelson’s pillar, for those who are curious. Dublin had it before London had Nelson’s column.

[Here’s the same angle in Google Earth.](https://i.imgur.com/1t16e5F.png) It doesn’t look that wobbly in real life!
It’s later than that, the green car with the black roof in the bottom right is an [Austin A40 Farina ](https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Austin_A40_Farina) that came out in 1958
I climbed that moument once. I’m very proud of it. Don’t do it.
try to cross that road as a pedestrian, looks like a deathmatch arena
