    I very much doubt that, it would be more like “The Emperor=Austria and its allies within the empire”

    Prussia for example was also a member of the empire and didnt yet join any coalition against France.

    The HRE in 1805 was basically only a prestigious title with no power anymore

  2. Pretty sure he didn’t defeat Britain. 1805 was the same year as the Battle of Trafalgar. The Coalition was defeated sure but not the UK, not on land or sea.

  4. Napoleon started the end of monarchy and the beginning of the current democracy wave in the world.

    Code Napoleon was his largest mark in history, because it was kept alive in different forms in many European countries after the defeat of Napoleon. So he lost in war, but won in legacy.

    Then people compare Napoleon to evil dictators. History education is low.
