It’s like watching an old woman counting pennies carefully out of a purse and glaring at you.
I wonder where they will stay tonight even? Hotels?
Why is it that we can take in 1,800 Ukrainians in 11 days but only 3,000 Syrians in 11 years?
This just shows how pathetic our response is to humanitarian crisis when they’re not in white European countries.
Only 98,200 to go!
Oh feck it, I forgot to put on the kettle!
Hi, my name is Oleksandr and I’ve just lost my job!) I am a student, studying foreign languages in Kyiv. I lost my job, because of this disgusting war; many children are trying to save their lives now and studying new languages doesn’t interest them at all. So, I decided to go international. I am a native Ukrainian and Russian speaker; I have passed Ukrainian Proficiency test and scored 193/200 points; my English level is C1. If you are interested in studying Ukrainian or Russian, feel free to write me a direct message. I will be pleased by any respond. I can send you my certifications if you need them.
If anybody hosting/know any ukrainian refugees with kids with special needs, dm me.
I might be able to give an advice regarding getting financial help. Also, if they not against speaking russian – I can help if their english is minimal.
