Lets at least start by allowing anyone with family connections to join them immediately. And open up a system of sponsorship for people with spare room etc to sign up to take refugees and be responsible. See how many that covers.

Is this because they think that they need to be nasty, bitter and cruel to appease the Brexit voters and assorted racists, bigots and cunts? Or did they actually get into politics to be cruel towards the most unfortunate people on Earth?

Yes they could, but you know how this government are, they only help rich people. And if they are going to help the poor, it’ll only be if money can be made from them. Otherwise they won’t.
At least they’re consistent with Syrian and Yemeni refugees
