  1. Great, lots of drugs being consumed. Good job Scotland.

  2. >The 131 figure includes people who used the service on more than one occasion.

    >It is hoped that the clinic can reduce fatal and non-fatal overdoses by providing a safe and clean place for people to use drugs, while also giving people further support to cope with their addiction.

    >As well as safer injecting facilities, users were provided with wound care, clean injecting equipment and naloxone as required.

    >**A spokesperson for the facility said some users had already engaged with housing and drug treatment support.**

  3. They’re being a bit fishy with the figures don’t you think?

Last week it was “tens of people”.

Now it’s 131 times being used.

That could very easily just be 6 people using it multiple times a day (which is typical).

  4. It’s going to take a lot to convince the average user that they won’t get arrested on their way to (or from) such a facility.

  5. Good. Looking forward to one opening in Dundee at some point. Folk need help and current UK drug strategy being simple stubborn intransigence is helping no one.

  6. Have they replaced the homeless facility they closed for this yet?
