A CHARITY is launching a new series of events focusing on mental resilience and wellbeing.
Diverse Abilities, Dorset’s disability charity, has announced the events for 2025, which will feature tales and anecdotes from a variety of speakers.
The first event will feature an all-female panel in honour of International Women’s Day.
It will take place at The Village Hotel in Bournemouth on Friday, March 7 and will be hosted by freelance sports broadcaster Stella Mills.

Diverse Abilities launches 2025 events focused on mental resilience and wellbeing (Image: Diverse Abilities) Stella will be joined by Anna Turney, a Paralympic skier who has represented Great Britain in multiple Paralympic Games and Helena Bourdillon, a GB freediver and world record holder.
Both women will share their experiences and insights on mental health and wellbeing.
Demi Tarrant, events executive at Diverse Abilities, said: “We are really looking forward to our first event of the series and to hear some inspiring talks about mental health and wellbeing through a series of talks from sports women.
“As well as enjoying great food and drink and raising money to support children and adults with disabilities in the Dorset area.”
