So, Prince Harry, Duke of Sussex, just made a trip to the tattoo parlor, and everyone is freaking out. Everyone wants to know: what tattoo did he get? Will this be an homage tattoo? And, the most frequent question is: Can royals even get tattoos? Yes, they can. And quite a few more royals than you may think have gotten some ink.
As many royal fans know, there’s seemingly a rule for everything, from how you dress to how you eat. While there are seemingly no rules for tattoos, it’s like an unspoken rule to not get one. However, that hasn’t stopped so many royals like Princess Stéphanie of Monaco, Princess Eugenie, and more.
Harry has seemingly wanted a tattoo for quite some time now, as has his brother Prince William, who allegedly hasn’t gotten one because Catherine, Princess of Wales, doesn’t approve, per Express. But now, it seems Harry is the one who beat William to it.
As we theorize what Harry got tattooed, let’s see all the other royals who got tattoos over the years.
